Argand focuses on solar photovoltaics (PV), solar thermal, and wind power. The company is a value-added, design-build integrator to its customers.
The company offers services ranging from system design, financing, engineering, feasibility studies, complete installations, and ongoing system monitoring and maintenance services. We have locations in Charlotte, NC and Columbia, SC.
Erik Lensch, President & Co-founder, Argand Energy Solutions, LLC
As President of Argand Energy Solutions, Lensch is responsible for the oversight, coordination and day-to-day financial management of the company. A graduate of Radford University in 1992 with a BA in Marketing, Lensch completed the Renewable Energy Technologies: Photovoltaic Track at North Carolina State University, and is a certified SMA-Sunny Boy installer. Lensch is the owner of SC Solar, a solar product supply company based in Charlotte, NC.
Chris Salmon – Licensed Electrician and Lead Installer; Co-founder, Argand Energy Solutions, LLC
By passing the rigorous North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners’ (NABCEP’s) exam, Chris Salmon, head of Argand Energy Solutions, LLC’s installation division, became South Carolina’s only certified photovoltaic (PV) installer. Chris is a licensed Master Electrician with 18 years of experience and a certified SMA-America Sunny Boy Installer. He graduated with a BS in Marine Science from the University of South Carolina, and completed the Renewable Energy Technologies: Photovoltaic Track at North Carolina State University. Salmon’s electrical and plumbing background includes photovoltaics, solar hot water installations, and heavy industry including everything from 1000-ton presses to nuclear fuel pellet burners, robotic welders, and powder coat paint systems.
